Overview
- The fire was reported around 3:30–3:33 pm on the 12th floor of Vaishnav Heights on Rani Sati Marg in Goregaon East.
- Mumbai Fire Brigade escalated the incident to Level II at 3:49 pm and mobilised seven fire engines along with ladders, tankers, a breathing apparatus van and a quick response vehicle, supported by police, PWD, BMC ward staff, 108 ambulance services and Adani Electricity.
- Officials said flames were confined to a closed room of roughly 600 square feet, while smoke spread to upper floors.
- No injuries were recorded, and the chief fire officer said the affected room was locked as residents had already escaped.
