Overview

• National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases detected H5N1 and H9N2 in samples from Jhugiya Bazar, Aluminium Factory area, Taramandal, Bhagat Crossing and near Shaheed Ashfaq Ullah Khan Zoological Park
• District administration imposed a 21-day ban on chicken sales and ordered closure of all live bird markets in the city
