GOP Candidate Refuses to Pledge Support for Trump in Effort to Participate in Debates

Will Hurd, a Republican presidential candidate, says he will not lie to gain access to the debate stage by pledging support for Donald Trump.
According to RNC rules, candidates must pledge to back the eventual nominee to qualify for debates, but Hurd refuses in order to stay true to his values.
Hurd believes protecting the Constitution is more important than participating in debates and will not manipulate the system.
Despite failing to register in recent polls and facing disadvantages, Hurd stands by his decision.
Other Republican candidates have also expressed reluctance to support Trump as the nominee.
