Overview
- Google announced the Pixel 11 family on Wednesday, August 12, confirming three models: Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL.
- All models run Google’s custom Tensor G6 chip with the Titan M3 security coprocessor and are built to run Gemini Intelligence features on device and in the cloud.
- The phones bring camera leaps: the Pixel 11 uses a 48 MP main sensor and a 5x telephoto with up to 30x Super Zoom while Pro models use a 50 MP main plus a 48 MP telephoto offering up to 120x Zoom Pro.
- Google kept list prices roughly steady but removed 128 GB base SKUs, launching each model at 256 GB with U.S. starting prices of $899 for Pixel 11, $1,099 for Pixel 11 Pro and $1,299 for Pixel 11 Pro XL.
- The company also introduced the Pixel Tag UWB tracker and Pixelsnap magnetic charging accessories, promised seven years of updates for Pixel 11 devices and said some market availability details will follow after the announcement.
