Google Unveils Pixel 11 Line Focused on On-Device Gemini Intelligence

Google is betting that on-device Gemini Intelligence will drive premium demand even as component shortages push up U.S. starting prices.

  • Google announced the Pixel 11 family on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, opened U.S. preorders and set shipments to begin on August 20.
  • The lineup uses Google’s Tensor G6 chip and Titan M3 security coprocessor and now starts at 256 GB of storage rather than 128 GB.
  • U.S. base prices rose roughly $100 per model to start at $899 for the Pixel 11, $1,099 for the Pixel 11 Pro, $1,299 for the Pro XL and up to $1,899 for the Fold.
  • Gemini Intelligence is built into core phone experiences with features such as Rambler transcription, Magic Capture, Camera Looks and HiLight LED signals aimed at creators and accessibility use cases.
  • Google launched companion devices including the Pixel Watch 5, Pixel Buds Pro 2 and the Pixel Tag and confirmed the Pixel 11 series will come to Mexico though local dates and prices are not yet announced.
