- Google unveiled the family version of CC on Sept. 17, 2026, turning the single-user planning agent into a shared household assistant that can include up to six adult members.
- Each household CC appears as its own verified Google Account and runs in an isolated cloud instance using Google’s Antigravity agent harness and Gemini models, with reports saying the current build uses Gemini 3.8 Flash.
- The agent delivers a shared “Your Day Ahead” briefing each morning, can add items to a family calendar and task list, and—with permission—can prefill registration forms, create shopping lists and build shared Docs and Sheets.
- Household members control what CC can access by auto-ccing selected senders, forwarding emails or chats, sharing Drive files or adding CC to a Calendar, and existing users will be invited to upgrade while new users join a waitlist.
