Google schedules August 13 event to unveil Tensor G5–powered Pixel 10 series

Overview

  • Pre-orders for the Pixel 10 lineup will open at the Made by Google event on August 13, with shipments starting August 20.
  • The series will comprise four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
  • All devices will ship with Android 16 and run on Google’s in-house Tensor G5 chipset, promising on-device AI enhancements and improved efficiency.
  • The base Pixel 10 is set to add a third telephoto lens to its camera array, while Pro variants retain their existing hardware supplemented by new software optimizations.
  • On June 27 in London, Google will host a Pixel Penthouse preview for 25 Superfans to get hands-on access to pre-release devices and engage in a Q&A with Googlers.
