- Google began rolling out the September 2026 Pixel Feature Drop on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, to all supported Pixel devices as a device-level update.
- Messages' Scam Detection gains support for English, Portuguese, German, Spanish, Arabic, French, and Japanese and will be available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, India, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and France.
- Gboard in-app Scam Detection is being added in the US with support for English, Portuguese, German, Spanish, Arabic, French, Indonesian (Bahasa), Japanese, and Korean so users can detect possible scam text while typing or replying.
- Pixel VIPs gets a new home-screen widget on Pixel 6 and newer that offers single-tap call and text quick actions and glanceable notification badges, and Pixel Watch updates improve Raise-to-Talk on Pixel Watch 4+ and add one-handed gestures to Pixel Watch 3+.
- The drop also includes a Harry Potter Pixel Themes pack and a two-month Audible trial for Pixel owners to access full-cast Harry Potter audio editions through December 31, 2026, and it mainly serves as a bug-fix update following the larger Android 17 release.
