  • Google has begun rolling out Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image) in Google Lens and Search’s AI Mode in English for users in the U.S. and India on Android and iOS, with more countries and languages to follow.
  • Lens now features a Create mode marked by a yellow banana icon, letting people capture or upload photos and apply conversational edits, while AI Mode also supports generating images from scratch with prompts.
  • NotebookLM’s Video Overviews gain six visual styles—Watercolor, Papercraft, Anime, Whiteboard, Retro Print, and Heritage—plus two formats, Brief for quick takeaways and Explainer for deeper summaries.
  • The NotebookLM enhancements are rolling out to Pro users this week before expanding to all users in the coming weeks across supported languages.
  • Google says images modified or generated with Nano Banana carry a Gemini spark watermark for provenance, and developers and enterprises can access the model via the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, and Vertex AI, with Google Photos integration planned in the weeks ahead.
