Google Rolls Out Gemini-Powered Contextual Smart Replies to Gmail

The new feature offers more detailed, context-aware responses for Android and iOS users.

Announced at the I/O 2024 conference, Gemini-powered contextual smart replies are now available in Gmail.
The feature provides three tailored reply options based on the entire email thread, enhancing the original Smart Replies introduced in 2017.
Users can preview and edit the suggested replies, which include greetings and sign-offs, before sending.
Currently available in English, the feature is rolling out to Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, and Google One AI Premium subscribers.
Google expects the rollout to take up to 15 days, with users needing to enable 'Smart features and personalization' in their settings.
