Google Rolls Out Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7 to Pixel Testers

Testers receive Quick Settings bug fixes plus the July 2026 security update as Google moves the quarterly build toward a wider stable release.

Google began rolling out Android 17 QPR1 Beta 7 on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, to enrolled Pixel testers and published system images for many Pixel models and the Android emulator.
The build is CP31.260623.005 and carries the July 2026 security patch with a security patch level of 2026-07-05.
Beta 7 targets Quick Settings regressions by fixing a Battery Share button that sometimes failed to start charging or repeatedly showed the wireless charging animation, removing an empty gap that appeared when Wi‑Fi was turned off, and fixing a crash in the Quick Settings font-size controller.
System images and OTAs are available for Pixel 6a and newer phones plus Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold, and testers can join through the Android Beta Program and report remaining issues via the Android Beta Feedback app, Reddit, or Google’s Issue Tracker.
This beta is a stabilization-focused follow-up to Beta 6, which reached platform stability, and addresses long-running user reports — including Battery Share problems logged since January — as Google prepares a broader QPR1 stable rollout later in the year.
