Google reveals Pixel 8 series and Pixel Watch 2 ahead of iPhone 15 launch

Google has officially announced the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel Watch 2 before Apple's upcoming iPhone event.
The Pixel 8 is smaller than the Pixel 8 Pro and focuses on being a compact Android phone that fits in your pocket.
The Pixel 8 Pro has an additional telephoto camera lens compared to the standard Pixel 8.
Google highlighted new personalized help, safety, and health features for the Pixel Watch 2.
The announcements come shortly before Apple's expected unveiling of the iPhone 15 series on October 4.
