Google Pixel Watch 3 to Feature Brighter Display, Smaller Bezels, and UWB Support
Set to launch on August 13, the new smartwatch addresses key shortcomings of its predecessor with enhanced specs and design.
- The Pixel Watch 3 will come in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm, with the larger model featuring a 420mAh battery.
- Both versions will have a 2,000-nit display, significantly brighter than the Pixel Watch 2's 1,000-nit screen.
- The bezels are reduced to 4.5mm, offering more screen real estate compared to the previous 5.5mm bezels.
- Ultra wideband (UWB) technology will be included for improved location tracking and connectivity.
- The smartwatch will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 platform with a custom co-processor.
