- Google began rolling out the five updates on Sept. 24, delivering new AI and editing tools across Android and iOS in staged, region-limited releases.
- Gemini Spark can now run prompt-driven tasks inside Google Photos for eligible U.S. subscribers to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra, letting users select, bulk-edit, compile galleries, and share photos with a single text prompt.
- Wardrobe, a digital closet that identifies clothing in your photos and lets you mix, match, and virtually try on outfits, is expanding to the U.S., India, and Brazil on Android and iOS for eligible users.
- Moods brings vintage-inspired, auto-adapting edit styles and slider controls to Android globally, and the Markup tool on Android gets a Redact pen to blur or pixelate sensitive details along with finer thickness controls and new fonts.
- Fifteen new Remix templates launch in select countries for users over 18, and Google says edits are made to copies, require user opt-in for AI access, and default new albums to private—changes meant to limit sharing risks but that prompt users and organizations to review settings before enabling agents.
