Overview
- Google Photos for Android is rolling out a new saved “Sticker” folder inside the Collections tab that keeps user-created stickers in one place.
- The folder shows stickers in a reverse-chronological grid and tapping an item opens a bottom sheet with a larger preview plus options to delete or copy for sharing.
- Users create stickers in Photos by long-pressing an image, and the app may prompt that “Stickers you create are automatically saved inside Collections.”
- The change ships with Google Photos version 7.78 and completes feature parity with iOS, which received a dedicated sticker folder earlier this year.
- By moving sticker tools into Photos as Pixel Studio is phased out, Google is centralizing photo editing for Android users and making it easier to reuse and share custom sticker assets.
