Overview
- Google opened a limited Pixel Care+ enrollment window that began Tuesday and runs through August 2, letting qualifying Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 owners add the plan after the normal 60-day cutoff.
- The offer applies to Pixel 9 and 10 series non-fold models — including the 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9a, 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL and 10a — while Pixel 9 and 10 Pro Fold models and devices previously enrolled in protection plans are excluded.
- Pixel Care+ covers unlimited accidental damage, $0 front-screen and back-glass repairs, $0 battery replacements for batteries that retain less than 80% capacity, unlimited $0 post-warranty malfunction claims, priority support, and usually next-day replacement shipping subject to availability.
- Owners can sign up via the Google Store or the My Pixel app in the US, UK and Japan and choose monthly or two-year pricing that varies by model (for example, Pixel 10 Pro is listed at $13 per month or $239 for two years).
- To enroll a device must be fully functional and free of pre-existing screen or back-glass cracks, liquid damage, mechanical or electrical failures, or swollen batteries, so owners who skipped protection at purchase now have a short, conditional chance to avoid likely repair costs by August 2.
