• Search Live is available now in English on Android and iOS with no Labs opt-in, accessible via a new Live icon under the Google app’s search bar.
• The feature supports back-and-forth conversations in AI Mode and can use the phone’s camera for live visual context, with relevant web links shown as you speak.
• Search Live is also reachable from Google Lens, where camera sharing is on by default to enable instant, hands-free queries about whatever is in view.
• Google says the rollout will start in the U.S. and India, with AI Mode gaining Circle to Search integration for on-screen follow-ups that flow directly into conversational queries.
• For deeper research, Google is adding Deep Search powered by Gemini 2.5 Pro to AI Mode, with some capabilities requiring a signed-in Google AI Pro subscription.
