Google Launches Private AI Compute for Pixel 10, Tapping Sealed-Cloud Gemini Models

It uses a hardware-protected cloud verified by remote attestation to process sensitive tasks beyond on-device compute.

Overview

  • Rolling out with the November 2025 Feature Drop, the platform debuts in Magic Cue and Pixel Recorder on Pixel 10 phones.
  • Magic Cue now delivers more timely suggestions by accessing Gemini models in the cloud while still leveraging on-device Gemini Nano.
  • Recorder expands to generate transcription summaries in more languages, with Google stating the sensitive data involved is not accessible even to the company.
  • The system runs on Google’s own stack, including Cloud TPUs and Titanium Intelligence Enclaves, and was built by the Platform & Devices, DeepMind, and Cloud teams.
  • Users can see when the service is invoked by enabling Developer options and checking the Network Usage log under Android System Intelligence in Settings.
