- The agent, announced Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, launched as an early Google Labs experiment in the U.S. with upgrade invites for existing CC users and a waitlist for new sign-ups.
- Each household CC gets its own verified Google Account and can include up to six adult members so people decide which emails, calendars, Drive files or chats they share with the agent.
- CC produces a shared “Your Day Ahead” briefing, maintains a family calendar and task list, and can take actions like pre-filling forms, creating shopping or meal plans, and updating shared Docs and Sheets.
