• NotebookLM is rolling out three new Audio Overview options—Brief, Critique and Debate—alongside the existing Deep Dive experience.
• Brief delivers a 1–2 minute summary, Critique frames an expert-style review with constructive feedback, and Debate stages two AI hosts exploring differing perspectives.
• Users can switch formats from the Audio Overview card by tapping the pencil icon, with language, length and prompt controls available.
• The features work on desktop and in the Android and iOS apps, which recently gained the same customization tools.
• The release follows Google’s expansion of Audio and Video Overviews to 80+ languages so non‑English users get similarly detailed output.
