Overview

  • Lenovo’s Chromebook Plus 14 launches today starting at $649 with a MediaTek Kompanio Ultra processor whose NPU delivers up to 50 TOPS for on-device AI and up to 17 hours of battery life.
  • All Chromebook Plus devices gain new AI tools including Select to Search with Lens for visual queries, Text Capture for OCR and calendar integration, Help Me Read to simplify complex text, and Quick Insert key for AI image generation.
  • The Plus 14 adds two on-device exclusives: Smart Grouping to automatically organize tabs and documents, and AI image editing in the Gallery app for background removal and sticker creation.
  • Purchasers of any 2025 Chromebook Plus model receive a 12-month Google AI Pro Plan subscription with 2 TB of cloud storage, Gemini Pro features across apps, and NotebookLM integration on the ChromeOS shelf.
  • The Plus 14 features a 14-inch OLED touchscreen option, quad-speaker Dolby Atmos audio, a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and support for up to two external 4K monitors.
