- Google’s devices division acknowledged that rising RAM prices have made hardware cost pressures unavoidable and that pricing changes will be implemented “dynamically” across the Pixel family, including upcoming models.

- Google said it is undertaking a focused engineering effort to reduce Android’s memory needs so devices can run with less RAM without harming user experience and will use promotions, trade-ins and bundled perks to soften consumer impact.
