• The partnership will integrate Hugging Face's platform with Google Cloud's infrastructure, including Vertex AI, enabling developers to deploy models easily for production on Google Cloud with Inference Endpoints, accelerate applications with TPUs on Hugging Face Spaces and manage usage through their Google Cloud account.
• Hugging Face users can opt to use Vertex AI as the deployment platform for hosting and administering open models, or choose GKE, a hosted Kubernetes managed service, which provides a significant level of flexibility and control over their operations.
• The benefits of this partnership will also be available to Hugging Face Hub users, who will be able to facilitate model deployment on Google Cloud, accelerate applications using TPUs, and streamline Enterprise Hub subscription management via their Google Cloud accounts until 2024.
• Vertex AI and GKE will be available in the first half of 2024 as deployment options on the Hugging Face platform.
