- The free tier grants 60 model requests per minute and 1,000 requests per day alongside a one-million-token context window
- Gemini CLI is integrated with Gemini Code Assist to deliver AI-first coding workflows in VS Code and terminals without extra cost
- Built-in support for the Model Context Protocol, system prompts and bundled extensions allows developers to tailor and extend the agent to specific workflows
