Overview

  • Jules is now generally available with an introductory free tier offering up to 15 tasks per day and paid Pro and Ultra plans that provide fivefold and twentyfold increases in daily and concurrent task capacity.
  • Gemini 2.5 Deep Think has launched for AI Ultra subscribers, delivering bronze-level International Mathematical Olympiad performance and 87.6% on LiveCodeBench, and its API access is slated in the coming weeks for enterprise and research use.
  • The Gemini app now features Guided Learning mode for step-by-step tutoring alongside automatic integration of images, diagrams, YouTube videos, and tools to generate flashcards and study guides.
  • College students aged 18 and older in the United States, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Brazil can claim a free one-year Google AI Pro subscription, which includes expanded access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Deep Research, NotebookLM, Veo 3, and Jules plus 2 TB of storage.
  • Google is committing $1 billion over three years to AI literacy programs, research funding, cloud resources, and a Google AI for Education Accelerator to support training and integration of AI in higher education.
