Overview
- The new plus icon replaces the magnifying glass on google.com and offers Upload image and Upload file options that open AI Mode for analysis.
- The rollout is live for many desktop users, including in Incognito sessions, and is not yet available on mobile browsers or the Android app.
- Google confirmed users can upload images or PDFs directly in the Search bar on desktop and said the capability will expand this week to all places where AI Mode is available.
