Overview
- Google rolled out Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1 on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, to extend beta coverage to the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
- Beta 6.1 uses two builds: CP41.260831.011 for the Pixel 11 series and CP41.260831.007.A3 for other supported Pixel models.
- System images and emulator support are available for many Pixel models, and testers can get the update through the Android Beta Program or by flashing the OTA/system images directly.
- Google flagged one known issue for Beta 6.1: Pixel 11 Pro Fold users may need to re-enroll Face Unlock, and testers should file bugs with the Android Beta Feedback app if they hit regressions.
- This minor follow-up fixes a distribution gap from last week’s Beta 6 by adding Pixel 11 files and continues QPR2’s focus on stability work such as crash, thermal, and camera fixes while developers use the now-stable API surface.
