Good Samaritan Killed Attempting to Thwart Carjacking in North Carolina

Driggers, 28, has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted common law robbery, larceny of a motor vehicle, and felony fleeing to elude.
The confrontation and subsequent fatal incident occurred last month but gained significant public attention after the video surfaced on social media.
Lecompte was pronounced dead at a local hospital following the altercation, and Driggers is currently held without bail at Robeson County Jail.
