• After 26 years at its iconic Times Square studio, Good Morning America will begin broadcasting from the Robert A. Iger Building in Hudson Square during the week of June 16.
• The relocation is part of ABC News’ strategic plan to consolidate its teams, including The View, Live with Kelly and Mark and The Tamron Hall Show, in a 22-story facility housing over 5,000 employees.
• Anchors Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, George Stephanopoulos, Lara Spencer and Ginger Zee reflected on their early experiences in Times Square as they wrap up their final week on the set where the show debuted in September 1999.
• The Robert A. Iger Building features amenities such as outdoor terraces, wellness centers and advanced screening rooms to support a more collaborative production environment.
• Good Morning America’s summer concert series will continue at the new Hudson Square studio, with Colombian singer Manuel Turizo scheduled as its first performer on August 1.
