Golf Prodigy Nick Dunlap Turns Pro After Historic PGA Tour Win

Following his unprecedented victory as an amateur at The American Express, Dunlap secures PGA Tour card through 2026 and prepares for professional debut at Pebble Beach.

Nick Dunlap, a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Alabama, has announced his decision to turn professional and join the PGA Tour.
Dunlap made history by becoming the first amateur in 33 years to win a PGA Tour event, The American Express in La Quinta, California.
Despite his amateur status, Dunlap's victory secured him a PGA Tour card through the 2026 season and immediate exemption into all remaining signature events.
Dunlap is the first person to win both the U.S. junior amateur and amateur titles since Tiger Woods.
Dunlap will make his professional debut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Feb. 1.
