• Per the Globes, Luminate ranks eligible podcasts using direct platform data on audience reach and engagement, revenue and chart performance; Luminate is owned by PMC, which co-owns the Golden Globes and owns Deadline.
• Nominations will be announced December 8, with the 83rd Golden Globes airing January 11, 2026 hosted by Nikki Glaser on CBS and Paramount+ with Showtime, as the addition of Best Podcast brings the awards slate to 27 categories and marks the first recognition of podcasts by a major film and TV awards show.
