Gogglebox Star George Gilbey Dies After Skylight Fall

George Gilbey, known for his appearances on Gogglebox, died from injuries sustained in a fall through a skylight during a roofing job.

George Gilbey, 40, died from traumatic head and torso injuries after falling through a plastic skylight in Shoeburyness, Essex.
The inquest into his death was opened and subsequently suspended due to a pending criminal investigation.
Essex Police have arrested a man in his 40s on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter, who has since been released under investigation.
Gilbey was well-known for his role in the TV show Gogglebox and had also been a finalist on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.
The inquest is set to be reviewed in four months as the investigation continues.
