Overview
- The FGR confirmed eight key designations, led by Raúl Armando Jiménez Vázquez as head of the Fiscalía Especializada de Control Competencial (FECOC).
- David Boone de la Garza will lead Regional Control (FECOR) and Mariana Díaz Figueroa will head the Human Rights prosecutor’s office (FEMDH).
- Maribel Bojorges Beltrán was named to the women’s violence and trafficking unit (FEVIMTRA), Richard Urbina Vega to Internal Affairs, and Ulises Lara López to the office handling high-impact investigations.
- Laura Ángeles Gómez was appointed Chief Administrative Officer, Julio César Bonilla Gutiérrez will run the transparency unit, and additional posts went to Claudia Luengas Escudero, Oliver Ariel Pilares Viloria, and Omar Cruz Juárez.
- The moves build on earlier selections of Héctor Elizalde Mora to lead the AIC and César Oliveros Aparicio to head the organized crime unit, while UNAM’s Law Faculty publicly congratulated Jiménez, a UNAM-trained lawyer with extensive federal experience.
