Overview
- Goa showcased plans for a 20,000-seat multi-use performance arena in Mandrem to host large international concerts, conventions and cultural events.
- The state also presented a Lord Parshuram statue and museum with a lifescape at Loliem designed as an immersive cultural and spiritual landmark with storytelling zones and viewpoints.
- Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte and Director Kedar Naik positioned the projects as year-round draws that create local jobs and elevate Goa’s global profile.
- Officials said the proposals align with a regenerative, community-led roadmap built on seven pillars that diversify tourism beyond beaches across culture, nature, MICE, adventure and wellness.
- The pitch came at the Oct. 14–15 Udaipur meet as Goa highlighted season-readiness with new Novosibirsk–MOPA services, nine weekly Aeroflot flights from three Russian cities, and Kazakhstan charters starting Oct. 25.
