Overview

• The deal covers 16 fully assembled cars along with pit equipment, race-day infrastructure and selected spare parts.
• Only physical assets changed hands, with the SRX name, trademarks and any broadcast rights retained by the original owners and no operational affiliation claimed by GMS.
• GMS says the cars will be repurposed for premium track-day experiences, turnkey customer programs and specialty events, with detailed plans to follow.
• GMS Fabrication will maintain and refurbish the fleet, which leadership described as a significant step for its fabrication teams.
• The cars were designed by SRX co-founder Ray Evernham and housed at his Big Iron Garage after the series ran from 2021 to 2023 and shut down before a planned 2024 return.
