Overview

  • GMARS completed its first live-fire tests on August 4, validating its precision-guided rockets at both a European test range and White Sands, striking targets at 140 km.
  • Built on Rheinmetall’s HX wheeled chassis, the launcher can deploy two ATACMS, four Precision Strike Missiles or up to twelve GMLRS rockets in a single salvo.
  • The program has entered the qualification phase with production lines ramping up to support upcoming field trials.
  • Designed for seamless integration with NATO assets, GMARS uses existing HIMARS and M270A2 munitions and logistics infrastructure.
  • Developers plan to integrate longer-range ballistic and loitering munitions into GMARS to enhance deep-strike reach beyond 300 km.
