GM Unveils Electric Corvette Concept and Opens UK Design Studio

General Motors has revealed a new all-electric Chevrolet Corvette concept developed by its UK-based design team in Birmingham.
The concept incorporates iconic Corvette design elements, such as the 1963 Sting Ray's split window, alongside futuristic features like gullwing doors and an aviation-inspired aerodynamic structure.
The unveiling coincided with the launch of GM's advanced design studio in Royal Leamington Spa, which aims to drive innovation and support European EV market growth.
The Corvette EV concept is part of a global design study involving GM studios in Los Angeles and Detroit, with additional prototypes expected later in 2025.
While not intended for production, the concept is expected to influence future Corvette models and bolster GM's strategy to expand Corvette and Cadillac EV sales in Europe.
