Overview

  • General Motors officially revealed the 2026 Corvette ZR1X on June 17, 2025, as the brand’s new high-performance hybrid variant.
  • The ZR1X’s LT7 twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque, while its electric axle adds 186 horsepower and 145 lb-ft for all-wheel-drive traction.
  • Chevrolet estimates a top speed of 233 mph and a 0-60 mph sprint in under two seconds for the new hypercar.
  • The addition of the ZR1X brings the Corvette lineup to five distinct models—the broadest range since 1953—and it will be offered as both a coupe and convertible.
  • GM has been testing the ZR1X at the Nürburgring in preparation for potential lap record attempts and plans to deliver it to dealerships in late 2026.
