GM Integrates Electrify America Into Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac Apps

The move puts all key charging functions in one app for a simpler experience.

Overview

  • GM EV drivers can now find, start, and pay for charging at more than 5,000 Electrify America DC fast chargers, including 350‑kW Hyper‑Fast units, directly in the myChevrolet, myGMC, and myCadillac apps.
  • The integration provides real-time charger availability, route planning with charging stops, session monitoring, and in-app payment without requiring separate charging apps.
  • Across the broader ecosystem, GM says its apps connect drivers to more than 250,000 public charging stations in the United States and Canada.
  • GM Energy vice president Wade Sheffer said the collaboration focuses on delivering better public charging experiences for GM EV owners.
  • Electrify America describes its network as the largest open Hyper‑Fast charging platform in the U.S., operating in 47 states and Washington, D.C., with more than $2 billion invested in zero-emission infrastructure.
