Global Crackdown Dismantles Massive Child Abuse Platform 'Kidflix'

Authorities in 38 countries arrested 79 individuals, identified 1,400 suspects, and rescued 39 children in the largest European operation against child exploitation to date.

The international operation, named 'Operation Stream,' targeted 'Kidflix,' a platform with 1.8 million users that streamed and sold child sexual abuse material.
Authorities seized the platform's server on March 11, 2025, uncovering 72,000 videos and a total of 91,000 files during investigations.
Among the 79 arrests, some individuals are suspected of actively abusing children, while investigations continue to identify additional suspects and platform operators.
The operation, led by Europol and the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office, highlighted the use of cryptocurrency tracing and advanced digital forensics in combating cybercrime.
Efforts are ongoing to analyze the vast amount of seized data, with calls for stronger legal measures to support future investigations into online child exploitation.
