Overview
- Coach and package tickets went on sale on Thursday 1 October and sold out in about 30 minutes, increasing pressure on the main general sale that opened at 9am on Sunday 4 October.
- The new process asks buyers to enter a registration number before joining the queue so each registration gets a single, unique queue place and using the same registration on multiple devices will not create extra positions.
- Tickets cost £408 each with a £100 deposit due at purchase, a postage fee per order, a six-ticket limit per transaction, and payments accepted only by UK debit or Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
- Organisers and reporters advised buyers to use one browser tab, have card details and billing addresses ready, and complete payment within the on-screen time limit to avoid lost orders during the rapid sale.
- The registration requirement builds on Glastonbury’s earlier anti-tout steps and the queue system introduced in 2024, and any unpaid or released tickets will be offered again in a resale in April 2027.
