Givenchy Names Amandine Ohayon CEO as LVMH Moves Alessandro Valenti to Dior

The internal moves reflect LVMH’s push to elevate homegrown executives to sharpen retail and digital performance.

Overview

  • Ohayon will take the helm at Givenchy on January 9, succeeding Alessandro Valenti and bringing experience from Stella McCartney, L’Oréal Luxe UK & Ireland, and Pronovias.
  • She will report to Pietro Beccari, who became chairman and CEO of the LVMH Fashion Group on January 1.
  • Valenti will join Christian Dior Couture on January 12 as deputy managing director in charge of commercial activities and will sit on the house’s executive committee.
  • At Dior, Valenti will report to deputy CEO Pierre‑Emmanuel Angeloglou and will replace Nicolas Baretzki, who plans to pursue new projects starting in April.
  • The reshuffle follows recent changes at Givenchy, including leadership turnover and the appointment of Sarah Burton as creative director in 2024, positioning the brand for its next growth phase.
