Gisele Thompson Joins Sister Alyssa at Angel City FC

The Thompson Sisters Set to Make History in the 2024 NWSL Season

Gisele Thompson, younger sister of Alyssa Thompson, has signed a three-year contract with Angel City FC, making her one of the richest high school seniors in the country.
The contract, which also includes an option year, will reportedly pay Gisele a base salary of about $525,000, in addition to a signing bonus and housing stipend, which are worth another $100,000-plus.
Gisele's decision to sign before her 18th birthday allowed her to bypass the NWSL draft and choose to play with her sister in Los Angeles.
Gisele and Alyssa Thompson will make history in the 2024 NWSL season as the second, and youngest, sister duo on the same team in NWSL history.
Gisele, a U.S. women's national team prospect, had previously received a national letter of intent from Stanford but decided to turn down the collegiate offer to pursue a professional deal.
