Police Reopen Investigations as More Arrests Made in Connection with Violent Incidents

Christopher Fantastic, 18, and a 17-year-old, both previously arrested in connection with a teen attack in Gilbert, have been arrested in a similar attack in Mesa.
Gilbert police have reopened investigations into a string of attacks on teenagers in the southeast Valley, allegedly carried out by a gang of mostly affluent teenagers known as the 'Gilbert Goons'.
The 'Gilbert Goons' are believed to have been involved in the fatal beating of 16-year-old Preston Lord at a Halloween party in Queen Creek on Oct. 28.
A 17-year-old, previously sentenced for his role in a related teen attack, has been arrested again on suspicion of burglary.
Despite victims not specifically mentioning the gang, Gilbert police have opened multiple investigations related to what officials describe as 'teen violence' cases.
