  • Two employees were discovered early Friday shot dead in separate vehicles in the parking lot of the Maggioni concrete plant near Bressey-sur-Tille.
  • The Dijon prosecutor’s office classified the incident as a double homicide and identified both victims as 42-year-old company staff.
  • Over 160 gendarmes, including GIGN units from Dijon and Satory, PSIG teams, mobile gendarmes, forensic investigators and aerial support, conducted a large-scale search operation.
  • The suspected gunman, a 55-year-old colleague who was reportedly in conflict with the victims, was found dead by an apparent self-inflicted gunshot around 2:30 p.m.
  • Local mayor Lionel Sanchez visited the site to offer support to employees and a judicial investigation has been opened to determine the motive.
