Gibson Jimerson scored a career-high 33 points, including 26 in the first half, to lead Saint Louis University to a decisive win over Fordham in their Atlantic 10 opener.
The victory marked the Billikens' first win away from home this season after five losses in nonconference road and neutral-site games.
Jimerson also achieved milestones during the game, becoming SLU's all-time leader in games played and moving to third in career field goals made for the school.
Fordham, which entered the game on a five-game winning streak, struggled to keep pace as Saint Louis pulled away with an 11-2 run in the second half to extend their lead to 25 points.
The Billikens improved to 8-6 overall and will face St. Joseph’s in their A-10 home opener on Friday, while Fordham fell to 8-6 on the season.
