Tommy DeVito, 26, has signed a one-year exclusive rights free agent tender with the New York Giants, valued at $1.03 million for the 2025 season.
DeVito first gained popularity in 2023 after stepping in for injured starter Daniel Jones and leading the Giants to three consecutive wins.
Despite his initial success, DeVito struggled to maintain consistent performance and started two games in 2024, both losses, without scoring a touchdown.
The Giants, who finished the 2024 season with a 3-14 record, are expected to add at least two more quarterbacks through free agency or the NFL Draft.
DeVito is likely to serve as a third-string quarterback in 2025, providing depth and familiarity with head coach Brian Daboll's system.
