Giants List Andrew Thomas as Questionable With Decision Pushed to Game Time

The team plans a true game-time call following a week of expanded reps for the left tackle returning from Lisfranc surgery.

Overview

  • Head coach Brian Daboll said Thomas took a lot of reps on Wednesday and Thursday and called the workload a positive sign, but he stopped short of clearing him.
  • Thomas said he will assess how his foot feels Friday and again Sunday morning, and a left tackle rotation with rookie Marcus Mbow remains on the table if he suits up.
  • New York’s official statuses list LB Darius Muasau out, LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles and DL Rakeem Nuñez-Roches doubtful, and DL Chauncey Golston, WR Gunner Olszewski and Thomas questionable.
  • James Hudson III struggled in Week 2 with four penalties on the opening drive before being benched, and Mbow performed in relief and factors into any plan at left tackle.
  • WR Darius Slayton and RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. were removed from the injury report and are expected to play against Kansas City, according to multiple reports.
