• Dart and fellow rookie Cam Skattebo practiced fully and were cleared for Sunday’s game in New Orleans after appearing on the injury report.
• In his debut start, Dart led a 21-18 upset of the previously unbeaten Chargers, throwing one touchdown and rushing for another while gaining 54 yards on the ground.
• The Saints opted against drafting Dart at No. 9 in April, taking tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. and later selecting quarterback Tyler Shough at No. 40, as the Giants traded up to pick Dart at No. 25.
• Dart said he carries a “chip” about being bypassed by New Orleans after multiple pre-draft meetings with Saints coaches.
