Giants, Cardinals to Play Inaugural 'Field of Dreams' Game at Historic Rickwood Field

The San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals will face off in the 2024 Field of Dreams game at Rickwood Field, the oldest professional ballpark in the U.S.
Rickwood Field opened in 1910 and was once home to Hall of Famer Willie Mays' Negro League team, the Birmingham Black Barons.
MLB has not yet confirmed the game but reports indicate it will take place at Rickwood Field, which has been featured in several films.
The Field of Dreams game was unable to be held at its traditional location in Iowa this year due to construction.
Rickwood Field is the home field of Miles College and has hosted baseball legends like Mays, Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson.
